Pastor Larry Wilkins, son of Aquilla Nash, has lived a life as a dedicated and anointed servant of God. His ministry began at an early age traveling with his mother leading praise and worship in her meetings throughout his teenage and college years. The Lord called Larry into full time ministry in 1982 and he has Pastored ‘The Dove Fellowship Church’ for over 25 years.

Larry is esteemed as a pastor of wisdom, integrity, strength and inspiration. He is blessed with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit operating in his life and ministry. He has a powerful God given ability to love, encourage and teach people to find and reach their purpose and ultimate destiny in God and to commit themselves to a deeper faith in Jesus Christ. Larry speaks a steadfast word in unsteady times. “Destiny is born of God. Destiny brings peace. Destiny is restfulness. Destiny is for God's glory. Destiny has a finished work. DESTINY IS THE WORK OF GOD.” In a time of gross darkness in the earth Larry teaches it is time for God's people to arise and shine for their Light is come for the Glory of the Lord is risen upon them.

Larry was miraculously healed in 1995 of what physicians diagnosed as a form of crippling arthritis. He was told that his body had permanent, irreversible damage and that he would not be able to work again. Throughout this many month health battle, God spoke repeatedly to Larry that "God's Word is true and the devil is a liar"! He preached Sunday after Sunday that it was impossible for God to lie! (Heb. 6:18) He taught continually that God's word was true.... more true than man comprehends. Larry's absolute and steadfast faith and trust in God brought forth a total healing in his entire body seven hours after the fourth physician - rheumatologist had given him a "doomed diagnosis". He shares his miraculous testimony to countless people in churches, on radio and television.

Larry and wife Brenda have been married more than thirty years and are blessed with three children: Melissa, Lindsay and Brett.

I’m Pastor Larry Wilkins of The Dove Christian Fellowship. I am Aquilla’s oldest son and have been the pastor for 30 years.  I will be sharing with you on the website whatever the Holy Spirit is speaking to my heart several times each month.  Much of it will be things I preach at The Dove on Sunday mornings.  So even though you can’t be with us you can be a part of what God is doing here. The Church is no longer confined to one location but it is linked together all over the world.  Isn’t it wonderful to live in a time such as this?  I have a heart for the Body of Christ. I have a vision of a Glorious Church of God in the earth and I believe it is coming together in this day.  You are the apple of His eye and very special to Him and to me also.

'The Amen Generation'

What an awesome God we serve and what an awesome time we are living in!

I might add to that, our Father is raising up an awesome people in the earth.  A people that are created in His image and Jesus is that express image of the Father.  So, we are to look and be just like Jesus.  I want to share this word that the Lord has given me for you today.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.  And every man that hath this hope in him purified himself, even as he is pure. (1 John 3:2-3.)

Do you have this hope in you?  That you and I are the sons and daughters of God in the earth today.  If so, there is a purifying work that is taking place in you right now causing you to be more and more like Jesus.  Since we are called to be like Jesus, we must get to know Him better and know Him as He is.  Jesus has many names.  The Scripture says: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)

I want to share with you one of the lesser known names of Jesus today.  Let’s go to Revelation 3:14: And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

Jesus called himself “the Amen.”  Amen is more that the closing word in prayer.  It means “let it be so.”  It is also one letter different than the Hebrew word truth.  The basic meaning of amen is:  What has been said is truth, let it be so!

Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things so ever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. (John 5:19 KJV)

The word translated verily, verily is actually amen, amen.  Some translations say truly, truly.  Jesus is saying, this is truth, let it be so, let it be so, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father do.  Whatever Jesus saw in the Spirit the Father do in Heaven, Jesus said, this is truth; let it be so in the earth.  Then Jesus did it.  Jesus was the “Amen” to everything the Father said.  Hallelujah, what a perfect son Jesus is.  And as He is so are we to be in this world.

Go with me to Isaiah 65.  God begins by talking about His disobedient children.  But then He talks about His obedient children to come.

Behold, my (obedient) servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye (disobedient) shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit. And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee (disobedient), and call his servants (obedient) by another name: That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth (actual translation: God of Amen); and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth (God of Amen); because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes. (Isaiah 65:14-16.)

God reveals Himself by a new name, the God of Amen.  In the beginning when God said let there be light there was an “amen” by the Holy Spirit and there was light. God is the God of Amen.  His children will be called by His name “Amen”.  Hallelujah, our name is to be just like Jesus “the Amen.”

God is raising up an “Amen Generation” that He calls His chosen.  Glory, glory, what a mighty God we serve!  Just like Jesus, whatever we hear or see the Father do in heaven by the eyes of the Spirit we are to say truth. Truth!  Let it be so!  Let it be so!  Then we go out and do it completing the will of the Father in the earth just like Jesus!

I believe the Father is calling you to be a part of the “Amen Generation”.  He has chosen you.  He has called you forth by a new name.  He has given you Jesus to show you how it is done.  He has given you the same Holy Spirit by which Jesus did all things. As Jesus was the Father’s Amen in the earth, you are to be his “Amen” in the earth today.

For all the promises of God in him are yea, and “in him Amen”, unto the glory of God by us. (2 Corinthians 1:20.)

God’s Word has promised us that we can do all things through Christ Jesus which strengthens us!  He has promised us that the things that Jesus did we can do because He went to the Father!  He has promised us that He gives us power over all the power of the enemy!  The Father is waiting to hear from us “Amen”!

You are to declare all God’s promises are yes and “in Him” they are true, let it be so!  Praise the Lord.  By the way did you notice that Amen is capitalized there as a proper name.  For it is the name of Jesus. By his name “the Amen” it is true, let it be so in your life.  Will you say Amen!  Will you say that what God has said about you is 100% true and it is impossible for him to lie?  If so, then say Amen, Amen it is true let it be so!

You have a calling upon your life.  The Word declares:  For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. (Romans 8:29-30)

When God called you He performed everything needed for you to fulfill that call.  He is just waiting for you to say “that is truth, so be it unto me, Amen”!   You have been chosen to be a part of a great “Amen Generation” in these last days.  There is no limit to what God can do and wants to do in your life.

WORD OF THE LORD

The Lord declares, you can do it for I have given you all things and I have not withheld any good thing from you.  You are able for I have made you able and I have released a strength and an anointing in this hour to bring forth my people and you are mine declares the Lord.  Arise to your calling.  Arise to my Word. Arise and be My witness in the earth.  Arise and shine for your light has come and as you do so My glory shall arise upon you.  Declare the power of the word “Amen” over the words that I have spoken to you and you shall see the power of My words come forth in your lives My children!

Well, praise the Lord!  Praise the Lord!  Receive His Word and let it transform you in this hour.  God is doing amazing things in the earth and an “Amen Generation” is going to show forth His praise in the earth.
